Beige Skivvy, Fcuk belt, Portmans trousers, G-market brogues/shoes.
This simple outfit is inspired from... Chloe's fall!

These trousers actually... Well when I bought them which was last year, I quickly tried them on in the change rooms and bought it. I dislike trying clothes on, what about you guys? I usually just say, "oh... they look like they would fit". But then, when I wore it once or twice last year, it felt really big for me... I felt like I could of bought different ones that fit me, and this was my size so it was kind of disappointing. I left it in my wardrobe for a very long time until I saw the Chloe pictures and felt really inspired because I remember I bought a tight bow belt. I guess these pants are ok now ;]

For all the people who reside in Adelaide and is reading my blog... The Royal Adelaide Show is coming next week! Is anyone else excited? I want to go in the 3-D game, it sounds scary lol.

Jill Stuart Resort 2011

Seeing the number 2011 is pretty amazing considering the time in 2009 when I could not understand how I was going to get use to writing '2010' on all the dates.
Anyway back on the topic... Sometimes finding dresses can be really hard. Summer dresses and casual dresses are easy but I think formal dresses are difficult to search for because you always want the "perfect" one... These are just a few of the lovely collection from Jill Stuart that includes a mix of slighty formal and casual. The prints are really nice, soft flower prints on it. From maxi dresses to short dresses, I actually like the maxi dress though I probably can't pull that look off either... These dresses are all so gorgeous for Spring and Summer!

Yummy, yummy waffles + my little dog named Fifi... hehe
I hope the weather can stop raining now, it has been raining for days now. Eating waffles on a rainy day is fun though. Well until you step out of the door and it starts pouring and neither your friend or you have an umbrella...

The rain in spain...

I went to watch Step Up 3-D with my friends on Saturday, and it was really awesome.
For some reason, I wished the movie was a little longer but I guess it was not 'draggy'. I dislike movies that drag on foreverrrrrr. I originally planned to wear my beanie but I took it off on my way to the cinemas because it felt too big for my head lol. Anyway, this outfit is inspired from Gossip Girl worn by Jenny. The wind was once again very windy, so I was trying to allow my hair to stop flying everywhere... That didn't work.
I also did wear shorts, denim shorts!

Anyways I have some other news, I now own a 3 weeks old puppy! It is so adorable. I'm actually very scared of animals... sadly... so when I saw it I was scared to touch the little thing... But then I touched it and it is so cute and soft and now I keep playing with it. It's a Jack Russel I think but at the moment, it is like a size of a hampster! Cute.

Small DIY

Since Spring is arriving very quickly (less than a month!), what better way to prepare for it by making easy flower headbands. It took me ages until I finally could be bothered to even buy the materials to make these. I'm not sure if I could wear these out without having 7/8 of the population staring at me weirdly... I think I will do it anyway :D Who cares what people think of you right?
Lately, my friend has been giving me old movies to watch as I am totally not updated with many movies. I thought it was time that I did some catching up! Call me lame, but even though I am fluent in English I had to turn on subtitles when I watched Pride and Prejudice with Kiera Knightly. The British accent and the some of the English Literature were kind of hard to understand by ear. I understood them when I read them though! It was a pretty good movie.

This lovely editorial is from Vogue Novia for S/S 2010. Gorgeous eh?
What I really like about this editorial is that everything is so dreamy and peaceful. With the little cute pig, white dresses, and beautifully braided hair. I really like the way their make up is applied as well, suits the imagery really well. I think white dresses is a must for Summer, I myself am trying to find a nice one to buy. Now let's just pray for my hair to grow out longer and thicker so I can have braids like that!
Oh, I also love that big, red bow...

Retreat

These are just a few photos from my retreat in Mylor, which is up in the hills. It was a short one compared to the other times that I've been but I was so exhausted when I got home that I slept for almost 12 hours! zzz
Anyway the central theme of this retreat was 'the call to listen' and understanding the Aboriginals more, who were the first people of Australia. I've honestly learnt so much more and now understood more about their culture. It was quite fun, the food was quite tasty too.

This is what I cooked at school today- Dark and White Chocolate. I think there's another name for these biscuits, but I don't remember what they are called. The box colour + ribbon + tissue paper looks really nice doesn't it? I literally kept staring at the box. Mind the lame box name though 'Jody's cookies' hahaha...
Oh and yummy Haigh's Chocolate, wasn't for me though. Thanks to my friend however, I am starting to like dark chocolate.
I have retreat tomorrow for 2 days and 1 night and apparently it's going to be very cold since it's up in the hills, oh how lovely, not! I haven't even started packing yet, I am so lazy to...
