Boombox Tour 2011

So I finally had the chance to blog about the Boombox Tour 2011. I haven't been able to post anything lately because of one word. SCHOOL. There is so much work, assignment, test revision to do constantly, that I  have no time to blog or read other people's blogs either... I can't wait for the holidays again though, which is in five weeks. So I went to the boombox tour last year as well but with a different line up of people, where I blogged about here. The night was quite good, with really amazing and talented singers! Here are some pictures from the night.

So this is Ryan Higa... who is mainly known for his Youtube name as 'Nigahiga'. He was really nice but he seemed tired and a bit quiet. Nonetheless, he was still hilarious as usual.

These two pretty girls are known as 'jayesslee' and their names are Janice and Sonia Lee. They're so friendly, and their voices are amazing... Oh and they're twins too!

This is Kevin... who is known as 'Kevjumba' on Youtube, he's super nice as usual and he decided to wear the headband midway through the signing.

This is Andrew Garcia who was on American Idol, he is really kind and a great singer too!

This is D-Pryde and his real name is Russel. I can't imagine him as 'Russel' though. He is really hyperactive. I took a few photos for his fans and him and all of his poses had his mouth wide open.

This is Maribelle. I can't believe she's younger than me! She's a great singer too.

 

It was a really great opportunity to be able to meet these talented people in real life and I think all of my friends enjoyed it as well. Hoping for another one soon.

 Wore the outfit yesterday to one of my best friend's lunch birthday and to "Boombox", which is the second time that it has been held. This time, it featured youtubers like nigahiga, kevjumba, Maribelle Anes, D pryde, Jayesslee, and Andrew Garcia. Do you know any of them?

I got to meet them all and such and the night was quite good. I was one of the amateur photographers as well as a promoter, so I got to stay in the VIP room to snap photos for people and the desired person that they wanted to have a photo with.

I'll talk about Boombox in another post, as for this outfit I bought the skirt on Friday because I really wanted something like that for a while now. I found them in the last shop I browsed into - Dangerfield and I'm glad I found something similar to what I had in mind. 

I can't get over these boots that I'm wearing, they're so comfy and I love it how you can fold the top part of the boots to let the fur 'out' and unfold them when the weather is not as cold. I'm also loving my over the knee socks because not only do they keep my legs warm, they are able to hide all of my horrible bruises on my legs

Masquerade

A really delayed post but it was a masquerade lunch to celebrate Ivy's birthday. At least the mask black and Grey mask I purchased last year came to handy. The really big white one was my friends and ain't it gorgeous, besides the fact that it was terribly heavy on one side so I had to hold the heavy side with my fingers to stop it from falling.

On the other hand, look how beautiful this library room is... Totally reminds me of Hogwarts: Harry Potter. It's such a good area to study because it's dead set quiet and pretty to gaze upon. It's also fascinating that the millions of books are actually real... I don't know, it was really interesting to me. :P

Today is Mother's day, so I hope that all the mother's have a fantastic day with their family. I'm going to go eat hotpot with my family tonight. What are you doing with your family?

Brunch

Strawberry Dessert Pizza (I think... something along those lines... Yeh I didn't eat this for brunch by the way)

A tasty morning brunch with my friends last week. We visited the newly opened macaron store called, 'Mac Factory'. The macarons are pretty and definitely very sweet! The ones we left last to eat were a lot nicer to eat than the ones we thought would taste nice. I love eating Belgium waffles - warm, slightly crunchy, and topped with ice cream and fruit... yum.

I've been constantly wearing the leather shorts and the black booties out almost everywhere lately.

Now it's the first day of May and I can't believe how fast the holidays have ended again. However it was surely a great one spending time with my family and friends. Now it's back to school on Tuesday and hopefully I will avoid procrastinating and give full attention to my workload. On Thursday however, I'm attending Justin Bieber's Concert, I'm actually excited to see himself live and all of his Beliebers in action. The concert arrangements is that everyone will be seated, pretty self explanatory why that is so...
