Disney on Ice

These are really, really belated photos from the time when I went to watch Disney On Ice. They're all such amazing ice skaters. They literally skate a thousand times better compared to me when I am walking on flat ground...
I'm glad that my camera was able to capture some nice moments like the time when Tinkerbell sprinkled glitter in mid air. Did I mention that the pretty snow cone cost us a crazy $15 AUD??

Magazines and food

These were sent to my sister and I from my lovely friend in Japan. I was so delighted when I saw that she had sent me four different Japanese magazines that I  love. Though, I believe my favourite would still be ViVi. However I would have to say that I love how the Japanese can incorporate like twenty photos onto every page, meaning that there is just so much inspiration to stare at.
She also sent me scrumptious Japanese candies and chocolates which I have almost finished eating by now.
So after my friend and I each bought sausage sizzles for breakfast (very healthy, I know), we saw a caravan that was selling churros... I wasn't sure whether these were going to taste nice or not, hence why we only bought one to share. We finally walked out of the markets, took a bite into our churros and GOSH WERE THEY NICE.

P.s. I finally bought tickets to go to see the K-pop Festival in Sydney!!! Even though I'm not really a big K-pop fan anymore, I still really like them and so I can't wait to see some of my favourite idols in the flesh. Is anyone else going to it?

Tailored Pants

H&M top, Forever New pants, Bardot pants, Sportsgirl bag, Brogues from Hong Kong

I walked around Gilles Street Market, browsing through each stall to see what they had for offer this time round. Suddenly, there was a stall that had these two beautiful clutches in navy and orange placed nicely on the table. Even though I told myself that I was not going to purchase anymore items into my wardrobe for the time being... The orange one, somehow, is now sitting in my wardrobe.

Why does Miu Miu always have to produce such beautiful... gorgeous... looking shoes?

Myer S/S Collection - Colour blocking

Now that spring and summer are arising in Australia in around a month’s time, one of the popular key trends currently on the catwalk is the colour blocking/ colour clashing trend, which is also a favourite of mine. I was kindly asked by 2threads to blog about Myer’s S/S collection. There is such a variety of different designers who had joined up with Myer for this collection and as you can see, a lot of them have incorporated vibrant colours into their pieces. Here are some of my favourites:

I'm going to take this post as an opportunity to also style my own interpretation of the colour blocking trend which I have not posted on my blog yet. Colour blocking is not for everyone as a lot of people are use to sticking with monotone colours such as black or white. However if this is your case and you do like the trend, I suggest starting off wearing something simple, such as a bright clutch because something that simple can still stir up an outfit. Here's my version, inspired by the Myer S/S collection.
Dangerfield floppy hat, Sportsgirl top, Valley Girl skirt, Windorsmith boots, Miss Shop clutch
Weirdly, this hot pink clutch matched perfectly with the colour of my top. I also can't wait for summer so that I can wear this mustard floppy hat that I bought recently out more! The bow at the back of the hat is such a bonus.
