I'm a Vampire

It's a rather early Halloween post but I think it is about time I updated my blog. Last year for Halloween, I was an angel... This year, I decided that I would do something more 'scary' but I had no idea on who to dress up as. I didn't even have time to buy myself anything, so I asked my sister to buy me "something" and she came home with devil horns and this black cape. I was going to be a vampire.
I'm actually not even good at make up, so I was really surprised that it turned out well. (Thanks to the help from YouTube videos and Google images...) It was actually a lot of fun to continuously apply on more and more make up to my already caked face. Though by the end of the day, all I wanted was to have a shower as soon as possible. My parents were actually scared when they saw me haha.

Holidays

These are really, really belated snapshots taken throughout my two weeks of school holidays.

Colour Blocking

Bardot blazer, blouse , skirt, black tights, All That Glitters Booties, Bag from G-market
Spent my last day of the holidays hanging out with a friend, browsing through vintage markets, eating churros, and trying on summer clothes in stores.

This shoulder length blouse and skirt were one of the purchases that caught my eye when I was using my Bardot voucher. This may have been the first time, in yearssss, that I have worn a tight fitting skirt. I use to always think that my body doesn't suit anything tight fitting, but it is always a good idea to experiment with new pieces. (Though I still believe I can't pull off tight fitting tops)
The green colour of this skirt really attracted me because it's very different. I also don't own a lot of green pieces in my wardrobe. I actually love this skirt, and can't wait to wear it out more.

Compiling Versatile Pieces

Evil twin sheer cardigan, Portmans necklace, top bought from a boutique, Witchery jeans, Lipstick booties, Louis Vuitton bag,

I had the urge to just wear monochromatic colours that day. This was because I knew I was going to be in the city library for most of the day hence, I didn't want to overdress. I was originally planning to just wear the asymmetric top with the jeans but the weather was quite cold so I paired it with my sheer cardigan, which I really love! It's so flowly whenever I walk around in it.
I was also trying to curl my hair but ruined it, so I just ended up putting my hair into a ponytail.
P.s. My holidays end in two days... Boo.

The Perfect Match

Shirt and pants from a boutique called Pari, Sportsgirl scarf, Siren heels,
I've always liked the combination of wearing a blouse with high waist pants. It has a really chic feeling to it. However, I thought that the outfit looked a bit plain for my liking so I styled it with the Sportsgirl's scarf that has not been touched after I had purchased it. I really, really love scarves that have that vintage feel.

I didn't plan to go out for long so I wore these heels but it turns out that I had a long day wearing them. Surprisingly, they didn't hurt by the end of the day which is something that I'm so glad. There's nothing worse than walking in uncomfortable shoes.
