It was my friend's birthday a few weeks ago and the party theme was Disney. All of the guests that came that night had such amazing costumes, including the birthday girl herself, which if you posssssibly tell for some strange reason - she was Minnie Mouse. I thought an easy character to dress up as was Mulan, so I dressed up as her. My costume was so easy to do but so terribly done as well. I found the green cardigan from my mother's wardrobe, I bought a yellow maxi dress (which I would probably never wear/ touch again), a navy piece of fabric, and a string of red ribbon. It looked alright from afar though, with the help of safety pins since I don't really know how to sew...

I'd love to have a Disney themed party, only fitting with my name hahaha. But this is soooo awesome! I actually made that exact Mulan outfit for one of my textile projects in highschool, you embraced it perfectly :)
