A Lazy Sunday

Desserts @ Sweety - 83 Gouger Street

Japanese dinner @ Wasai - 9/15 Field Street Adelaide

Green tea & chocolate ice cream @ Gelatissimo

I have decided to include some of the restaurants' addresses that I eat at to my future food posts. This is so that people who reside in Adelaide are able to try the places if they desire to.
As another part of my belated birthday presents, Cathy gifted me a galaxy maxi skirt. I was so stunned because I love, love galactic prints. I can't wait to wear it out soon and show you all what it looks like :)

All Glamoured Up

Equip necklace, Asos gold cuffs, Just Jeans top, Bardot sheer skirt, Windsor Smith boots,

I've realized that literally all of my maxi skirts consist of either pleats, sheer or the combination of both. This was my latest skirt purchased from Bardot, which I bought with the last amounts that I had left on my gift voucher. I actually am in love with this skirt. The inner skirt fits me perfectly, and it is extremely comfortable to wear out. I can already see myself wearing this constantly during the autumn season.
The top is quite old. However I only had the opportunity to wear it out once. Who would think that the glittery texture of the shirt, which I bought 2 years ago, is now one of the popular trends this season?
I decided to accessorize the outfit with a statement necklace, and my favourite gold cuffs (as per usual). I also experimented with some plum lipstick to add more effect to this outfit.
I hope everyone has been going through a lovely week. I just came back home from a dinner with all my friends as one of them is off to Sydney this Saturday for future studies! :(

Disney

It was my friend's birthday a few weeks ago and the party theme was Disney. All of the guests that came that night had such amazing costumes, including the birthday girl herself, which if you posssssibly tell for some strange reason - she was Minnie Mouse. I thought an easy character to dress up as was Mulan, so I dressed up as her. My costume was so easy to do but so terribly done as well. I found the green cardigan from my mother's wardrobe, I bought a yellow maxi dress (which I would probably never wear/ touch again), a navy piece of fabric, and a string of red ribbon. It looked alright from afar though, with the help of safety pins since I don't really know how to sew...

It's better late than never

These photos were taken literally a month ago, on my 17th birthday. I never got around to posting these photos so I decided that it is finally time to upload some photos of the cake! I am so mesmerized when I just stare at birthday cakes with candles lit. I love playing with sparklers as well. I received some really, really great presents from my awesome friends throughout the month so I just wanted to thankyou everyone who gave me something! A school friend of mine headed back to America for her summer holiday a while back and I nicely asked her to get me the Urban Decay Naked Palette as well as the primer potion and a Nars multiple stick. The pigmentation of the Naked Palette is so amazing (no wonder why so many people own/ use it).

P.s. I also did an interview with the lovely Liza of Edwin & Atwood, click here to read the interview. :)

Reminiscing

Top bought from a boutique, Alice in the Eve leather skirt, Jo Mercer heels, ASOS cuffs

Currently one of my favourite trends is the monochromatic look. It was by chance that I paired this top and skirt together and realised how nicely the two pieces complimented each other. I also like the face that it appears to look like a dress from afar.
Yesterday I went shopping with my friend to help her find shoes and I kept finding myself heading into clothes stores to see if they had anything new. I realised that autumn is arriving soon, and I really do miss Winter fashion. I believe I need to invest in a new coat/ cape for this winter.

P.s. It awfully seems like I am touching my hair constantly whilst taking these photos.. I blame the wind for messing it up.
